What is an art advisor and why you might want to hire one?

An art advisor is simply someone to help you find and buy art. If you are not familiar with it, the art market can seem unwieldy and intimidating. There are different reasons you may want to buy art, and different art advisories out there. At Lintel Art Advisory, our main focus is to help our clients find pieces to live with in their homes, creating a more beautiful life.

Who are we?

We are Jennifer and Dasha.  We met decades ago working in independent film, and have been friends ever since. We love art and we value beauty. By surrounding you with art, we want to help you live your most aesthetically pleasing life.  Art doesn’t have to be expensive or fancy (not that there’s anything wrong with that!) in order for it to enhance your existence.  It simply has to be something that you love and that makes you feel things. With backgrounds in studio art and design (Dasha) and art history and working at The Museum of Modern Art (Jennifer) we have complementary skill sets to help demystify the process of engaging with the art world and creating an art filled life.

Who are you?

You may be someone who has always been curious about living with art, but doesn't know where to begin. Maybe you are someone who already owns some pieces and are looking to find new works that would complement your current collection. Or perhaps you are someone who has recently moved and are looking for the right art for your new space. Possibly, you are someone who has been gifted art and wants help figuring out how to arrange it.

There are many things you might be but you definitely ARE someone who wants to live a life full of beauty.
